Hi and welcome to my official web site!!!!

MAY. 07

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for my lack of updates lately. My life has been a little chaotic over the last 5 months.
As most people are aware, my family and I (my husband, 2 children, our dog and cat) relocated to Columbus, Ohio USA. We did this 2 weeks before I competed at the Arnold Classic. So between preparing to compete and trying to settle into “normal” life, I have been extremely busy.
Again, I loved competing at the Arnold Classic. I was in my best condition so far and was happy to nail both my routines. Although my 8th place didn’t excite me very much (to say the least) I always consider it a huge honour and privilege to be invited to compete. The Arnold Classic is a fantastic competition, not only to compete in, but also the expo for all the Bodybuilding/Fitness fans.

We have now settled into life in the USA and fortunately my children also love it here. But it hasn’t been all smooth sailing; we have definitely had our fair share of hic-ups.

I am now also fortunate to be able to train with my trainer, Mike Davies, in person, rather than everything being done via email. Mike is a fantastic trainer and an expert in all aspects of diet, training, cardio etc. Whether you compete or just want to get into shape. If anyone has the chance to work with him, I would highly recommend it.
I am also employed by Mike, as one of his personal trainers, so I am looking forward to learning from him.

I start dieting in 2 weeks time for my next competition, which will be the Europa Super Show, held in Dallas. It will probably be the first of 3 shows over a relatively short period; I am hoping to qualify for the Olympia at one of these shows.

Although I am now living in the USA, I am still writing my column for Muscle & Fitness Australia, so please keep you questions or comments coming in.
Thank you to everyone who has wished me well over this chaotic period.
Take Care everyone and I promise it won’t be as long between updates!!!!!

Love,

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year!
My family and I have had an extremely busy start to 2007. Apart from pre-paring to compete at the Arnold Classic in March. We are officially relocating to the USA on the 14th of February (one year to the day that I did my Achilles) . We are all very excited about our big move and are looking forward to catching up with friends we haven't seen for a long time!
I am also proud to announce my new sponsorship with BHSPORTS. BHS has a huge range of gym wear (ladies & mens), swim wear and competition suits (ladies & mens). I find it extremely easy to promote BHS, as it is not only a fantastic product to wear, but it has superior craftmanship, Australian made and owned, huge range of colours and designs and fits your body like a glove. You can check out their range by either clicking on the link or at www.bhsports.com.au
Although I will be living on the US, I will continue to write my column in Australian Muscle & Fitness magazine. So to all our readers please keep the questions coming in.
I am really looking forward to getting back on stage after having to have a year out, I have two new routines, hat I hope everyone will enjoy as much as I enjoy performing them.
Take Care everyone

I am happy to announce that our visa's to relocate to the USA have now been granted. It has taken over 18 months and after lots of hard work we are now free to relocate. We are so excited and hope to be in Columbus, Ohio by Febuary, 07. I am also excited to announce that I will be employed and working for Mr. Mike Davies at the Fitness Factory. This is a huge oppertunity and I would like to thank Mike for all of his help and support over such a long period, without it it would nothave been impossible!
I am back into full training (including gymnastics)and LOVING IT!!!!!!! I cannot wait to get back on stage and really look forward to a full year's worth of competing. It has been a long year out, so bring on 07, I say.

All is going well with my rehab. I have even started gymnastics again!!! I really missed competing this year but everything is on track for next year. Can't wait to show off my killer routine. I have enjoyed a little down time with my family and I am refreshed and ready to go. With our local compitive season only a few weeks away I have been kept busy helping quite a few girls, so to them I wish you the best of luck. To all of my fellow competitors who are getting ready for the O good luck to you all and I wish i could be there with you.

I have good news to report, my achillies is healing extremely well and I am just about back to normal training after only 4 months. My surgeon tells me I have already regained the strength that most people would achieve after 12 months of rehab. I have to wait 3 more months before I can start flipping again. I would love to compete once this year but I do not want to jepardise my progress so I may have to save my big come back and two new fantastic routines until 2007.

I would like to congratulate a two of my friends on their recent sucess!

Cathy who competed this year for the first time, in Masters Figure placing 1st & 2nd in her comps, Cathy looked fantastic and I know we will be seeing much more of her on stage, as she now has the "BUG" fo competing!

Finally, last but not least, Tom competed at the May State Titles and stole the show! He truely is a real showman. After placing 1st a week later he jetted of to the Nationals in QLD and followed on with his winning streak, with another 1st place finish. Tom not only has a beautiful physique, he shows it off well.

Good Luck to all my friends who are competing this year, I wish you all well and try not to get grumpy while dieting. HA HA

Well as most people are aware I haven't had the best start to my 2006 season. Just in case you haven't heard, I ruptured my Achilles tendon, during routine rehearsal for the 2006 Fitness International, which is part of the Arnold Classic weekend. Subsequently I had to have surgery.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends, fans and fellow competitors who took the time to wish me all the best and a speedy recovery.

I have no intention of retiring; I plan to do that on my terms, not because of an injury!

I hope to compete again this year and will be doing everything in my power (and my physio's) to do so.

Thanks for checking out my site, hope you come back soon!

Love Deb
